Cantt and Gulgasht solar in Multan: shade and the bill come before the plate count.

پرانے گھروں میں چھائیں اور بل کی حد پلیٹوں سے پہلے آتی ہے۔ گیسر گرڈ پر رہتا ہے۔

Key takeaways

These houses already have one or two splits, a water tank on the south, and a feeder that was sized years ago. Count usable bays after shade. Then read the sanctioned load on the bill. A 15 kW conversation does not belong here.

Trees and tanksDraw the shade before you order plates. See shade.
Sanctioned loadIf the bill is smaller than the inverter, file the increase. See sanctioned load.
Old wiringA new backup DB on old Cantt cable trips RCDs. Photograph the trip. See RCD trips.
Usual box6 kW hybrid, fewer 645 W plates, solar-first. National pages: one AC, house hybrid.

Keep the geyser on GRID. A backup board that includes the geyser is how a small pack dies at night. The DB split is in backup DB design.

Shade on Cantt, Gulgasht, and Officers Colony roofs before any plate count

Cantt, Gulgasht, and Officers Colony are older Multan houses. The slab is usually reinforced concrete. One or two splits are already installed. A water tank sits toward the south, a mature tree stands in the lawn, and the parapet is often high enough to cut the winter sun. The satellite picture still shows a tidy rectangle. That rectangle is not the array. We draw the shade the tank, the tree, and a neighbour's upper floor actually throw, then we count bays only in what remains. Ordering a full row of ten 645 W N-type modules for a roof that keeps a handful of clear bays in the afternoon is how a string spends half the day doing little. The plate count comes after the drawing. A 15 kW opening line does not belong here.

Send a morning photograph and an afternoon photograph with the tank in both, plus a view along the parapet. If the tree's shadow crosses the south bays, those bays are not a string. The drawing method lives on the shade page. This URL adds the local habit: these three neighbourhoods lose area to tanks and trees more often than a new society plot does. A generic line that every Gulgasht house gets a fixed plate count, with no shade plan, is a sentence we will not sign. Fewer 645 W modules on clear bays beat a crowded layout that only looks complete from the lane. If the clear area is tiny, the honest sale is the fan product, and the hybrid badge waits.

Usable bays on an old Multan slab, not the photograph

A bay is a place a module can sit for the hours that matter, on iron that can carry a plate in the 640 to 650 W class. If the only clear strip is to one side of the tank, the string is laid for that strip or the job shrinks. Shade mixed along one string pulls the whole string down with the weakest module. On these roofs the honest answer is a shorter string, not a clever mix of leftover wattages beside the tank. The open bays get one module family. The shaded bays stay empty. We do not fill a gap with a different plate so the roof looks finished from the street.

Iron, when we do mount, is 14 SWG. Sixteen SWG under a module in the 640 to 650 W class is refused, including where someone calls the span short because the parapet is low. PVC as the roof cable protection is refused in this heat. XLPO is the cable we sign, and it does not lie in a water channel behind the tank. The usual inverter is a 6 kW IP65 hybrid on a shaded wall with air around it. The pack lives indoors. None of that iron talk moves the plate count ahead of the shade drawing. The house hybrid page is the national box. This page is why many of these roofs never reach a full ten-module layout.

The sanctioned load on a Cantt bill comes before a bigger inverter

These feeders were sized years ago. The family has since added machines the original sanction did not imagine. The sanctioned load printed on the MEPCO bill is the ceiling of the connection, and a shop quotation does not raise it. If that figure is smaller than the inverter someone wants to hang, the increase is a MEPCO paper and it is filed before the bigger box is ordered. We do not quote a DISCO fee, and we do not invent an office phone. The national note is sanctioned load. The local file note is the Multan MEPCO file. New Pakistani files after 9 February 2026 are net-billing under SRO 251(I)/2026. Net-billing is the shape of a new file. It is not a reason to skip the sanctioned-load line, and it is not a rupee figure this page will print.

Read the bill beside the night sheet. Fans, a fridge, and lights can often stay inside a modest sanctioned load and a 6 kW hybrid. Two night air-conditioners are a different service, and the bill has to be able to say so before anyone talks about an 8 or 10 kW box. The day load and the service both have to support that move. Shade still has a vote. A large inverter on broken bays is an idle badge. Output priority on the circuits that are meant to run stays solar-first. That choice is not a way to put the geyser on the pack.

A load increase is paper, not a sticker

A load increase is not a verbal promise from a counter, and it is not a badge on the hybrid. Until the DISCO paper exists, we size to the bill in hand. The carton and the bill beat the website. If a forwarded quote shows a bigger inverter than the sanctioned load, bring the bill before you pay. The calculator working rate of Rs 11 per kWh is only a labelled working rate. It is not the MEPCO tariff and it is not a fee. September 2026 street bands live on the prices page. No band figure is copied onto this Cantt page. Officers Colony, Cantt, and Gulgasht do not get three tariffs from us. They get the same order of work because the roofs fail the same way.

The Multan city page remains the city canonical. Use it for the desk, the circle, and the introduction. Use this URL when the question is whether this old roof, under these trees, on this bill, should carry plates. Phone and WhatsApp for that question are 0300 0465810. Email is info@zarkaarpower.com. These pages were updated on 2 October 2026. Malik Muneeb Altaf is group steward only, not an installer licence, and that name does not approve a cantonment drawing. Zarkaar Power is the solar desk of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan. This page does not promise a drive-out. It asks for the bill and the roof photographs.

Night written down for GulgashtWhat we will sign
Fans, a fridge, and lightsOne 5.12 kWh pack at 51.2 V. Six kilowatts is often enough
One 1.5-ton for part of the nightTwo packs. Near ninety percent depth of discharge, one pack is about 4.6 kWh, and a 1.5-ton spends that quickly
Two night air-conditionersThree or more packs after a real load sheet. Eight or ten kilowatts only if the day load and the service support it
GeyserStays on the grid breaker. It does not join the backup board

Night intention in Officers Colony before the hybrid badge

Write the night before the badge. Four fans are about 300 W. A fridge cycles. Ordinary lights are a small addition. That set is one 5.12 kWh-class pack, and a 6 kW IP65 hybrid is the usual ceiling on these roofs rather than a mean default. One 1.5-ton for part of the night is a second pack. The one AC guide and the fans or one AC page hold that arithmetic so this neighbourhood does not invent a second climate story. Two night air-conditioners are three or more packs, and only after the hours are written. We will not hide those hours inside a larger inverter sticker while the roof is still broken by shade.

A backup board that includes the geyser is how a small pack dies after dark. The element does not know the family only wanted air in the bedrooms. Keep it on GRID. The split is drawn on the backup DB design page. Solar-first remains the output priority for the circuits on the backup side. If the night sheet is only fans, do not let a showroom add a second pack because the lane looks established. Idle lithium is not a design. If the night truly needs the tonne, say so, price the second pack, and still leave the geyser off that bus. A 51.2 V wall does not go on a 24 V inverter left over from an older house, and USE on a battery-type screen is a walk-away. Four tubulars are not the 2026 hybrid bank.

Old Cantt wiring and the trip we will not hide

These houses were wired for a quieter life. A new backup distribution board on that cable can trip the residual-current device in the first week, especially where a damp joint or a tired socket is already leaking. The photograph of the tripped device is the start of the repair. The fault note is RCD trips. We do not lift the earth to keep the lights on, and we do not bridge the device so a handover looks clean. Leakage is the fault. Repairing it is slower than hiding it, and it is the only work we will sign. If you smell smoke or burning insulation, isolate only if that is safe, leave, and call local emergency services. This page does not teach a way to keep running through that smell.

We also do not invent an earth-resistance number for Gulgasht. A real reading belongs on the handover when an electrician has taken it. We do not publish a test procedure. You keep the photograph of the board and of the device that opened. The same refusal covers a shop LCD that shows USE, and a set of four tubulars offered as the lithium bank. Closed loop, on the pack that was actually sold, is the quote. The cantonment or the society, where one of them owns the permission, signs its own drawing. We size the plant. We do not pretend a solar quotation is that signature, and we do not publish a fake colony form.

This Cantt and Gulgasht URL stops at shade, the bill, and 6 kW

Some roofs in this belt need a written yes from an office that is not ours before anyone drills. Bring that answer with the bill. A person who cannot get the owner to agree does not get a drill. No file and no willing owner means feed-in stays off. None of those papers change the order of the engineering. Shade first. Sanctioned load second. Night sheet third. Plates last.

The decision on this Cantt, Gulgasht, and Officers Colony URL is to draw the shade and read the sanctioned load before any plate count, to keep the geyser on the grid breaker, and to treat a 6 kW hybrid as the usual ceiling unless the clear bays, the MEPCO bill, and a written night sheet all agree to move. That decision is false for a clean new roof on Bosan Road, false for a Vehari Road mill, and false for a bazaar board swap. The Multan city page stays the city canonical. This page is only the older roof.

Who stands behind this page

Zarkaar Power is the solar desk of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan. Phone and WhatsApp 0300 0465810. Email info@zarkaarpower.com. Updated 2 October 2026. The carton in your hand and the DISCO bill beat this website. We do not claim an MCS, NABCEP, DEWA, or DISCO licence. Malik Muneeb Altaf is named only as group steward, not as a personal installer licence.

Questions

Can I put 15 kW on a Gulgasht roof?

Only if the clear roof, the bill, and the night load all say so. Most of these houses stop at 6 kW.

The RCD trips after the solar board. Should we bypass it?

We refuse a bridged RCD and we refuse a lifted earth. Fix the leakage.

How should a Gulgasht family write the night before choosing packs?

Write fans, a fridge, and lights as one night, or write the air-conditioner hours as a different night. Four fans are about 300 W and they do not justify a second pack by themselves. One 5.12 kWh pack at 51.2 V, near ninety percent depth of discharge, is about 4.6 kWh of usable energy, which is the fans-and-fridge night on a 6 kW hybrid. A 1.5-ton for part of the night is a second pack because that machine spends the first pack quickly. Two night air-conditioners are three or more packs after a real sheet, not a verbal extra. The geyser stays off that sheet and on the grid breaker.

Who is allowed to approve a drawing inside the cantonment or a society?

The office that already controls that roof signs its own paper. Zarkaar Power sizes the plant from the shade, the bill, and the night sheet. We do not pretend a solar quotation is a building approval, and we do not publish a society form with a colony name typed on it. If the house sits where a cantonment or a society expects a drawing, ask that office what it wants to see and bring the answer with the sanctioned-load figure. The desk does not quote a MEPCO fee and does not print a cantonment fee. Malik Muneeb Altaf is group steward only, not an installer licence, so his name is not that signature either.

Why does the geyser stay off the backup board in Officers Colony?

The geyser is a heating load, and a small lithium pack is not a water heater. On these older houses the honest night is fans, a fridge, and lights, sometimes one split for part of the night. Put the element on the backup board and the pack is empty for the circuits the family actually wanted through the shed. Output priority stays solar-first on the backup side. The geyser stays on the grid breaker. The backup distribution board is drawn that way before the hybrid is ordered. A wealthier lane does not change the physics of a heating element after sunset.

When would an Officers Colony house leave the 6 kW ceiling?

Only when three things agree at the same time. The roof that remains after shade has to hold the extra modules. The sanctioned load on the MEPCO bill has to be increased on paper before a bigger inverter, because a small sanction is a limit and not a suggestion. The daytime load has to need the larger box, and the service has to support it. Two night air-conditioners can mean three or more packs after a written sheet, and they can mean an 8 or 10 kW box, but they do not skip the bill. New files after 9 February 2026 are net-billing under SRO 251(I)/2026. We still do not quote a fee for that file.

What photographs does a Cantt quote actually need?

Photograph the south roof with the tank and the trees in the frame, once in the morning and once in the afternoon if you can. Photograph the parapet, the sanctioned-load line on the bill, the existing distribution board, and any residual-current device that already trips. Old cable plus a new backup board often opens that device. We want the trip on a photograph. We do not lift the earth to hide it and we do not bridge the device. If you smell burning, isolate only if that is safe, leave, and call local emergency services. Do not send a clip of someone working inside a live board.

Is the Multan city page the same decision as this Gulgasht page?

No. The city page introduces the desk, the heat, and the circle for Multan as a whole. This URL is the older-roof decision for Cantt, Gulgasht, and Officers Colony, where shade and a small sanctioned load usually stop the job at a 6 kW hybrid and fewer 645 W plates. A clean new roof on another belt can hold a full row of ten modules. These roofs often cannot. Use the city page when you want the city. Use this page when the tank, the trees, and the bill are the argument. The two URLs are not substitutes, and copying the city introduction here would hide the shade.
