Charge current stays at or under the pack sheet you are holding
Charge current, discharge current, and the charger source are three different lines that shops either set too high or leave pointing at the grid all night. The pack sheet in your hand is the ceiling for the two currents. A 5.12 kWh wall is often discussed as if one famous figure fitted every label. This page will not print that figure, because a Knox 4.15 kWh wall is lower and a sheet from a different brand is a third document. If the sheet is not in the room, you do not type a number. Looking at the screen is allowed. Raising the screen above the sheet is refused. The profile that makes those currents meaningful lives on the battery type page. USE voltages are refused. USE is not a way to type a lithium limit the sheet never gave you.
One 5.12 kWh pack at 51.2 V is a specific object with a specific sheet, not a nickname for every wall in a shop. Treat the label you can touch as the only label. A quote that said about five kilowatt-hours loses to a case that says 4.15. Correct the quote. Do not correct the pack by feeding it the larger conversation. Four tubular batteries are not a 2026 hybrid bank, so there is no tubular voltage trick hiding under charge current. If the battery type is wrong, fix the type page first. Current on top of the wrong profile is two mistakes stacked. The carton and the sheet beat this website. Text updated on 2 October 2026 does not become a default ampere just because it is newer than a forum post.
Solar-only charging is the house default on a solar quote
Solar-only means the pack fills from the roof. That is the house default when the quote was a solar quote. Solar and utility means you agreed to buy units to fill the pack. Those bought units are a bill, including when they arrive quietly after midnight and the app calls them charging. Night grid-charging to be ready for air-conditioning is that bill. Night air-conditioning itself is a second pack on an honest design, not a tick nobody mentioned. The quote has to call the grid-charge a bill before the menu is set that way. Discovering the import at the end of the month is not a fault in the modules. It is the charger source doing what it was left doing.
The calculator's labelled working rate is Rs 11 per kWh, and it is only a labelled working rate. It is not the night-import tariff, not a DISCO slab, and not a promise about what last night cost. September 2026 street bands live on the prices page. No figure from those bands is copied here. If you want the night line explained, photograph the charger-source setting and the bill period together. Do not subtract a homemade total. The meter is the bill. A surprising night import belongs in that photograph, not in a higher charge current. Raising current does not make bought units free. It only asks the pack to accept them faster than its sheet may allow.
Night grid-charge is electricity you buy on purpose
Read the source line before you read the current line. A correct current on the wrong source still empties your pocket. Solar and utility is honest when the household agreed to enter a cloudy week with a full pack and accepted the cost. It is not honest when a commissioning tech enabled it so the first demonstration looked strong, then left. Ask for the handover sheet to say which source was chosen. If the sheet of paper and the screen disagree, the screen is what the plant is doing, and the paper is what you were sold. Reconcile them in daylight. Do not toggle the source every evening to chase a feeling about tomorrow's outage. Outage survival is a pack-size and load question. It is not a midnight purchase you forget to name.
A pack that is not charging at all is a different article, the not charging fault. Do not cure a refusal to charge by typing a current above the sheet. Do not cure it by switching the source to the grid and calling the import a test. High temperature is a stop of its own. If the pack is hot, use the battery hot page rather than raising current or forcing a charge through the alarm. Heat and a higher current are a bad pair. The owner may look at the numbers on a cool afternoon with the sheet in hand. The owner does not edit them upward because a video used a round figure for a different wall.
Discharge current is the same ceiling, not a surge trick
Discharge current is on this page so a night surge is not fixed by a limit the cable and the pack cannot carry. If a pump or a kettle trips the inverter, the honest answers are a smaller load, a design that was sized for that load, or a sheet that truly allows the current you want. The dishonest answer is a bigger digit. This menu page will not print a cable-size table to help you pick that digit. The house build uses 14 SWG and XLPO where that specification belongs. 16 SWG is refused under a 640 to 650 W module, and PVC is refused on the roof. Those are refusals, not a chart, and they do not authorise a discharge number. The single-line remains the copper record.
National charge-current and time-of-use guides stay canonical where they exist as their own articles. This URL does not rewrite them and does not invent their headings. What it adds is the refusal to print a default and the insistence that night utility charging be called a bill before it is enabled. Time-of-use speech that promises free night energy is not a setting we will help you hunt. If your DISCO has a night rate, read it on the DISCO's own paper and date it. Do not ask this menu page to become that tariff. Priority, solar-first or grid-first, is yet another line. It is not a synonym for charger source. Read both.
Charge choices and the meaning this page will defend
| What the screen is set to | What it means in the house |
|---|---|
| Solar only | The house default on a solar quote. The roof fills the pack |
| Solar and utility | You agreed to buy units to fill the pack. It is a bill |
| A current above the sheet | Refused, even for one night, even if a forum is unanimous |
| USE voltages | Refused. The profile comes from the battery-type sheet |
| A hot pack and a charge command | Stop. Heat is its own fault, not a current to push through |
Bring the sheet, the screen, and the quote line that mentioned charging when you call. Phone 0300 0465810 or email info@zarkaarpower.com. Zarkaar Power is the solar desk of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan. We will say whether the source matches the quote. We will not read you an ampere to type. If the not-charging photographs show an alarm, send those too, and do not clear the alarm by defeating a temperature limit. Site wording loses to the sheet in your hand. That is intentional. A default published here would be copied onto the wrong wall within a week.
Owners sometimes want the pack full before a wedding and reach for the grid without telling the person who pays the bill. Say it aloud instead. A full pack bought from the utility is a purchase. A second pack for night cooling is a purchase of hardware. Neither purchase is a secret menu. Discharge stays inside the sheet so the wedding load does not become a story about a ruined battery on Sunday. If the loads never fitted one pack, the menu is the wrong place to confess that. The design was the place. This page will not launder the confession into a higher digit.
The decision only this charge-current page may state
Hold the sheet. Keep charge and discharge at or under it. Prefer solar-only when the quote was solar. Treat solar-and-utility as bought energy, agreed in writing before it is enabled. Refuse USE voltages. Refuse a current copied from a larger wall onto a Knox 4.15. Refuse to fix a night surge by exceeding what the pack and the cable can carry. Send a hot pack to the heat fault and a silent pack to the not-charging fault. Leave the Rs 11 working rate in the calculator, labelled as a working rate, and keep street-band figures on the prices page where they belong.
The decision that belongs only on this charge-current and night grid-charging page is that we print no default ampere, the pack sheet in your hand is the ceiling, and night charging from the utility is a bill you agreed to buy rather than a favour the menu performs for free. A parallel-DIP boundary or an apps login page would be false if it claimed that ceiling as its own decision.
Who stands behind this page
Zarkaar Power is the solar desk of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan. Phone and WhatsApp 0300 0465810. Email info@zarkaarpower.com. Updated 2 October 2026. The carton in your hand and the DISCO bill beat this website. We do not claim an MCS, NABCEP, DEWA, or DISCO licence. Questions
Everyone says 100 A for a 5 kWh wall. Can I type that?
Only if the sheet in your hand says so. A 4.15 kWh Knox will not.
Will night charging from the grid save the pack?
It fills the pack with bought units. Call it a bill.
The sheet is at the shop and the installer wants to type a charge figure today. Should I allow it?
No. If the pack sheet is not the one you are holding, leave the number alone. A figure remembered from a 5.12 kWh conversation is not a figure for a Knox 4.15, and it is not a figure for a different brand that happens to look similar. Solar-only can still be selected as the source when the quote was solar, because that choice is not the ampere. The ampere waits for the paper. USE voltages are not a placeholder while you wait. Phone the desk with a photo of the label if the sheet is delayed, and expect a refusal rather than a guessed current. A wedding tomorrow does not change the ceiling.
Will grid charging at night damage the pack, or is the only issue the bill?
The issue this page will name is the bill. Night grid-charging fills the pack with units you buy, and those units belong on the quote before the source is set to solar and utility. Damage is a different question and it starts when the current goes above the sheet, or when someone charges through a high-temperature alarm. Stay at or under the sheet and stop if the pack is hot. Do not treat the utility as a gentle trickle just because the hour is late. The labelled calculator rate of Rs 11 per kWh is not the price of that night import. Your DISCO bill is the price. Photograph the source line if the import surprises you.
Can discharge current be raised for a pump and restored after the irrigation hour?
No. A temporary raise is still a raise, and discharge current is not a tool for a surge the pack and the cable cannot carry. This page refuses that edit and refuses to print a cable table that would make it look calculated. 16 SWG under a 640 to 650 W module is already refused, and PVC on the roof is refused, but those sentences are not permission to pick some other size and a bigger discharge digit. If the pump does not fit the sheet, the design does not fit the pump. Solar-only versus utility is a separate line and does not absorb a discharge mistake. Leave the number where the sheet put it.
The battery type is USE and the charge current looks normal. Is the current enough?
No. USE voltages are refused, so a normal-looking current on top of USE is not a finished setup. Go to the battery-type page and set the profile the sheet names. Four tubulars are not a 2026 hybrid bank and USE will not rename them into one. After the profile is honest, come back and check that charge and discharge are at or under that same sheet. Do not keep USE because the pack appeared to charge this morning. Appeared to charge is how the wrong limit survives. If the pack is hot while USE is on the screen, stop and treat the heat as its own fault rather than typing through it.
Our night bill jumped and the app calls it charging. Did the roof fail?
Not from that fact alone. Look at the charger source. If it says the utility is allowed to fill the pack, the jump can be the bill you did not mean to buy. Night air-conditioning on one pack is often the load that tempted someone to enable that source, and a second pack is the honest design answer when night cooling was the goal. Photograph the source, the current, and the bill period. Do not raise current to make the night look shorter. Do not invent a slab. Street bands stay on the prices page with no figure copied here. The not-charging page is the wrong article if the pack is charging very well from the grid and the complaint is only the cost.
Who is allowed to change the charge number after handover?
The person who will sign the plant may change it, downward or sideways, only inside the sheet that is in the room. The owner may look. Nobody is allowed to set it above the sheet, including the original installer, a relative, or the desk on a phone call. We will not read a replacement digit out loud. Bring the sheet and the screen to the conversation. Zarkaar Power can say the source does not match the quote. We cannot bless a higher current because the first month felt tight. If the screen and the sheet already agree, leave them alone. A later carton revision wins over this page if the words differ.
