Photograph the charge screen and do not raise the amps

A lithium pack that will not charge is one of four stories, and they are not the same visit. The sun may be absent. The charger may be set to solar only and it is night. The battery management system may have opened because of heat, voltage, or a fault of its own. Or the profile may be USE, or the wrong brand, so the hybrid is not actually talking to the wall. This stop-page is that split. The long guide stays canonical for the repair account. You photograph state of charge, the charge-source setting, and the battery-type screen, and you do not type a higher current than the pack sheet. We do not publish a default amp. The sheet in the carton is the cap, and the carton beats the website.

Current above that sheet is not a cure for a stubborn pack. It is a way to make a pack hot. If the charge-current screen already shows a number higher than the sheet, photograph it and stop. Do not nudge it upward because the percentage has not moved for an hour. Heat in a tin shed will stop charge on purpose. Defeating that stop is refused. Read the temperature line if the screen has one, and if it points at heat, go to the hot-pack page after you have the photos. Do not defeat the sensor and do not pour water on the case. A pack that smells or swells is not a charging recipe. Leave the room and call local emergency services.

Noon watts, night settings, and a USE profile

Start with the sun, because it is the cheapest truth. At noon, photograph PV watts. If the figure is zero on a bright roof, this may not be a battery fault at all. The next pages are MPPT or isolation, depending on what else the LCD says. If PV watts are healthy and battery current is zero, photograph the charge-source line. Solar-only, with the grid-charge option left off, will look like a dead pack after sunset even when the wall did exactly what the quote said. Night grid-charging that was never on the quote will also look like a large import on the bill if someone enables it to hide an empty morning. Write down what the quote promised before you enable anything.

USE on a pack that is not charging is refused

If the profile says USE, the next page is battery type, not a higher current. USE is refused as a lithium setting. It does not charge a wall correctly just because the alarm got quieter. Closed loop, with the brand profile the carton names, is the conversation the pack expects. A 51.2 V wall does not go on a 24 V inverter, and four tubulars are not a substitute bank when the hybrid was sold for LFP. Do not hang the wrong battery to force a charge. Do not invent a balancing procedure. This page has no cell-by-cell method and no voltage table. The charge menu is where the source and the current cap are read, and they are read against the pack sheet, not against the inverter's biggest number.

Write the profile word in the same note as the noon watts. A reviewer who sees USE next to a healthy PV figure will not ask you to raise the current, and a reviewer who sees the correct closed-loop word will look at heat or at an open BMS instead. Do not toggle profiles while the pack is hot. Do not borrow a neighbour's LIB or PYL setting because the letters look familiar. If the carton is in another room, fetch it and photograph the profile line on the carton beside the LCD. That pair of pictures is more useful than an hour of button presses. The charge will not become honest because the screen got quieter.

A hot pack that will not charge is a location problem

Multan heat in a tin box will open a lithium charge path while the rest of the house still looks normal. The owner sees a percentage that will not climb and assumes the charger is lazy. Often the pack is refusing current because the room is wrong. Photograph the alarm text and the place the pack is mounted: tin shed, west wall, cupboard with no air, or a proper indoor corner. After the case has cooled and the isolators are off, the design fix is a cooler room, which the hot-pack page describes. There is no menu item that makes a hot room safe. Do not switch the sensor off for June. Do not aim a mains fan into an opened enclosure. Do not open the pack.

Smell, swelling, or a case you cannot stand beside is a leave-the-room event even if you opened this page looking for a charge setting. Call local emergency services. Do not try a suppression method from a forum, and do not keep photographing from inside the room once you know the pack is in distress. If the pack is only warm, the alarm is only temperature, and there is no smell, you can wait for it to cool, with isolators off, and then talk about moving it. That sequence is the whole DIY content of this fault. The current cap still does not go up. A hot pack given more current is how a location problem becomes a damaged wall. Read battery hot before you move anything, and keep the two decisions separate.

The pack sheet still caps the charge current

The inverter maximum is a property of the inverter. The pack sheet is a property of the cells. The lower honest limit is the one you keep. This page will not print a universal number, because your sheet is the number, and inventing one here would be a lie the moment a different wall is installed. Photograph the charge-current screen beside the sheet, or beside the carton page that states the sheet, so a reviewer can see the comparison without trusting a remembered digit. If the screen is below the sheet and the pack still will not take current, the split above still applies: no sun, solar-only at night, BMS open, or wrong profile. Raising the screen toward the inverter maximum does not answer any of those four.

One 5.12 kWh pack at 51.2 V is the ordinary wall this desk describes. It is not a promise that your house has that wall. If your carton shows a different capacity, say the carton figure in the note and ignore the example. Four fans, about three hundred watts together, are a small evening load and they do not prove the charger is broken when the morning percentage is low. They prove you should write the load down. Night air-conditioning is a different design and usually a second pack, which is the low-voltage conversation if the pack charges all day and then collapses after midnight. Do not use this charging page to lower a cutoff. Different fault, different refusal.

The not-charging essay stays the long guide

The canonical guide is battery not charging. This URL points at it and refuses to become a second copy. Use the long guide for the fuller split between a quiet sun, a solar-only source, an open BMS, and a wrong profile. Use this stop-page while you are at the screen: photograph state of charge, source, and battery type, compare the current cap with the pack sheet, and do not type a higher figure. If the pack smells, you have already left. If the profile is USE, you are on the way to the battery-type page, not deeper into a custom table. If noon PV watts are zero, you are on the way to MPPT or isolation. The photographs decide which door, and the photographs come before any number changes.

Updated 2 October 2026. The Multan desk is on 0300 0465810 and info@zarkaarpower.com. Send the three screens and say what the quote promised about night grid-charge. Enabling grid-charge to hide an empty dawn can buy units you never agreed to, and the bill will show the import even if the app later looks tidy. The working rate in the calculator is Rs 11 per kWh only as a labelled working rate, not as your tariff and not as a reason to force a night charge. The decision on this not-charging URL is the split and the cap: photograph the charge screen, keep current at or under the pack sheet, refuse USE, and leave a smelling pack. A page about a night cutoff or a dead dongle does not get to end on that charging split.

Questions

Should I set charge current to the inverter maximum?

No. The pack sheet wins.

Night grid-charge is off. Is that why it is empty?

If you never agreed to buy night units, empty at dawn can be an honest small pack. Write that down before you enable grid charge.

PV watts look healthy at noon but the pack current stays at zero. What do I photograph?

Photograph state of charge, the charge-source line, the charge-current screen, and the battery-type profile in the same visit. Write whether the pack sheet cap is above or below the number on the screen, without changing it. If a temperature alarm is also present, include that line and a photo of the room. Do not type a higher current to see if the percentage moves. Zero current with healthy PV watts is still the four-way split: source, profile, BMS, or heat. The not-charging essay is the long guide. This page only keeps your hands off the cap.

The pack is in a tin shed and shows a temperature alarm. Should I force a charge?

No. Heat that stops a charge is the pack protecting itself, and forcing current is how a warm wall becomes a damaged one. Photograph the alarm and the shed, leave the current where it is, and do not switch the sensor off. If there is no smell and the case is safe to be near, wait until it has cooled and the isolators are off before you talk about moving it indoors. If it smells, swells, or is too hot to stand beside, leave the room and call local emergency services. There is no suppression method on this page. The hot-pack page is the location story.

We never asked for night grid-charging, and the pack is empty at breakfast. Why?

If the source is solar only, the pack can only refill from the roof, so an evening of fans and a fridge can leave an honest low percentage at dawn. That is not automatically a failed charger. Write down the quote before anyone enables grid-charge, because switching it on will buy night units and the bill will show the import. Photograph the charge-source screen and the morning state of charge. A small single wall is not a night air-conditioner. Do not raise the current cap to hurry the next sunny day. The long guide explains the split. This stop-page refuses the surprise enable.

The profile says USE on an LFP wall. What is the decision on this charging page?

USE is refused. Photograph the word, stop typing voltages, and return the screen to the closed-loop profile the carton names, or book a menu review if you do not know the word. A quiet alarm after USE is not evidence that the pack is charging properly. It is evidence that the BMS was told to be quiet. Do not invent a custom table while you wait, and do not hang a 51.2 V wall on a 24 V inverter because the percentage is stuck. The battery-type page holds the profile language. This URL holds the refusal and the photos.

I can smell the battery cupboard. Is this still a not-charging fault I should troubleshoot?

No. Smell, swelling, or a case you cannot stand next to means leave the room and call local emergency services. Do not open the pack, do not pour water on it, and do not keep adjusting charge current from the doorway. This page is not a fire procedure and it has no suppression method. If you can take one photo from a safe place on the way out, fine, but do not stay to document. A temperature alarm with no smell is a different, calmer visit about the room. The smell changes the decision completely, and the long charging guide is not a reason to remain beside the pack.

Which page is the long guide, and what does this stop-page refuse to print?

The long guide is the battery-not-charging essay, and it stays canonical. This stop-page refuses a default amp, a voltage table, a cell-balancing procedure, and any instruction to set the current at the inverter maximum. It also refuses USE and refuses defeating a temperature sensor. What it asks for is a photograph of state of charge, charge source, and battery type, plus a comparison with the pack sheet. Send those to 0300 0465810 or info@zarkaarpower.com. Updated 2 October 2026. The carton sheet beats any number a forum offers, and the desk will not invent a cap the sheet does not show.
