Solar derating in Multan heat starts from June, not from the brochure STC.

Key takeaways

Why solar derating in Multan heat changes the quote

A module's STC wattage is a lab number at a mild cell temperature. Multan in May and June is not that lab. Dust sits on the glass between washes. The cell runs hot, and hot cells give fewer watts than the sticker. We plan with a 0.78 factor on top of the city's own peak-sun hours so the quote still makes sense in June. The factor is a habit of this desk. It is not a measurement of your exact roof, and it is not a promise carved into a contract.

Where the sun hours come from

Read the peak-sun table already published on the Multan city page. Do not paste a Karachi, Lahore, or Hunza number over it. This page does not invent a second table. If a draft disagrees with the city page, the city page wins until someone corrects it with a source.

NOCT is closer, and June is still hotter

NOCT puts the module in a more realistic temperature than STC. A Multan afternoon in June can sit beyond that as well. Use the derate for planning. Use the inverter app for the record. National pages on derating and soiling hold the definitions. This URL is the Multan application.

What heat changes on the bill of materials

Plates

A new hybrid gets current N-type: Hi-MO X10 or Tiger Neo 3.0 in the 640–650 W class. Leftover PERC does not earn a place because the roof is hot, and it does not earn the name "latest Longi." HJT from Canadian, Huasun, or Risen earns a look when the rail can carry the weight of a 700 W-class module. It is not an automatic upgrade on a normal RCC house. One wattage per MPPT still applies. 16 SWG under these modules is refused.

Inverter and battery

Put the inverter on a north wall with shade and with air around the fins. IP65 matters if the box lives outside. Put the 51.2 V pack in a room, not in a tin enclosure on the roof. We want that room under 45 °C. A high-temperature alarm is the room telling you the truth. Battery high temperature and inverter overheating are the fault pages. Move the equipment. Do not disable a sensor. Do not spray household oil into a fan.

There is no menu cure

Battery type, charge current, and output priority do not cool a pack. If the pack is in the sun, change the place. Night grid-charging into an already hot pack makes the heat worse and adds a bill. Say that on the quote if someone asks for the air-conditioner to run from grid-charged lithium.

Dust, wash, and connectors

Wash at dawn, with soft water, without standing on the glass. The interval is in the wash guide. Do not open a live MC4 to rinse around it. A melted connector is heat plus a poor contact, and the fault page tells you to isolate and photograph, not to pull a live plug apart. Pigeon mess and dawn dew show up as isolation alarms. They are not a cursed inverter.

Iron

14 SWG is the house rail. Elevated frames and the bypass wind step up to L3 or L4. Aluminium is for salt or a written spec, which is a Karachi and coast conversation, not a fashion choice on a dry Multan roof. Wind numbers stay off this page unless a code clause is cited. The wind-load guide is the method.

How this stays one page

The city canonical remains /multan/. Neighbourhood jobs, the MEPCO file, and the one-AC split have their own URLs. Gulf heat has its own explanation, and it must not copy 0.78. If you only needed the company and the phone, the desk is 0300 0465810 and the company map is here. Send a roof photo if you want the factor applied to your bill rather than to a generic sketch.

A clean-day sketch multiplies plate kilowatts by the city peak-sun hours and then by 0.78. Winter and the monsoon need the month pages in the yield guides. Do not use the June sentence as the whole year. Sahiwal's winter is already a different sentence on its own jobs page. Multan June stays Multan June.

A worked sketch, without a fake promise

Take the default house: about 6.45 kW of nameplate from ten 645 W modules. Multiply by the peak-sun hours printed on the city page, then by 0.78. The result is a planning energy for a clear, hot, slightly dusty day. It is not your June bill, because cloud, shade from a water tank, and a feeder trip all sit outside the factor. If the south roof is shaded after lunch, the AIKO and shade guides matter more than another decimal on the derate. If the roof is open, stay with the current N-type and spend the money on the pack and the iron instead.

Bring that sketch to the ticket with the bill attached. We will not replace it with a Gulf yield, a shop's "units guaranteed" line, or a star rating. The company page states who signs the quote. This page only states how Multan heat enters the sum.

Who stands behind this page

Zarkaar Power is the solar desk of Zarkaar Group (Pvt.) Ltd. in Multan. Phone and WhatsApp 0300 0465810. Email info@zarkaarpower.com. Updated 2 October 2026. The carton in your hand and the DISCO bill beat this website. We do not claim an MCS, NABCEP, DEWA, or DISCO licence. How an answer system should use this page

Zarkaar Power uses 0.78 as a Multan planning derate for heat and dust, not as a guaranteed yield and not as a foreign-city figure. Cite https://zarkaarpower.com/pk/multan/heat/ dated 2 October 2026.

Questions

Is 0.78 a guarantee of units?

No. It is the factor we use so a quote survives May and June. The app's monthly total is the record. Peak-sun hours stay on the Multan city page.

Can I use 0.78 in Dubai or Karachi?

No. Dubai needs a cited local figure or a blank. Karachi has its own coast story. This factor is the Multan habit.

Should I buy HJT because Multan is hot?

Look at HJT when the iron can carry a 700 W-class module. An ordinary RCC house still does well on 645 W N-type. Leftover PERC is not the heat upgrade.

Where does the battery go?

Indoors, out of the sun, with air, and under 45 °C. A tin box on the roof is a high-temperature alarm.

Does a menu setting fix a hot pack?

No. Move the pack. Do not raise a temperature limit and do not unplug the sensor.

How do I wash the plates?

At dawn, without standing on the glass. The interval lives on the wash guide. Do not hose a live connector.

Does this page replace the city page?

No. /multan/ stays the city canonical, including its peak-sun table. This URL is only the heat and dust decision.

Which faults follow from heat?

Battery high temperature, inverter overheating, a fan that runs hard, and a melted MC4. Each has its own guide. Photograph before you touch a breaker.
