Cells, aim, then the panel
An AC remote not working is often the cells in the remote. Replace them with the size printed in the compartment. A cell that almost fits is how the compartment cracks. Point the remote at the indoor receiver, not at the outdoor fan and not at the hybrid on the other wall. A bright lamp on that receiver can hide the signal. The buttons on the unit are the test

Not a solar fault by default
