A 645 W plate is glass, not a walkway.

Unbox
Two people. Lift by the long-side frame. Never the junction box, never a sling across glass, never one person “walking” a 645 W module up a stair. Stand the pallet on the roof or a landing — do not lean a stack on a parapet in the wind. Check serials against the flash report before the pallet leaves the truck. Photograph barcodes. A plate without a flash file is a sticker, not a 12/30 warranty.
Glass crack on arrival: refuse that serial. Microcracks from sitting on the module are not visible until summer. If someone stood on it to reach a dish, it is already a warranty fight.
Iron (this is the 2026 failure)
Hi-MO X10 / Tiger Neo 3.0 / 640–650 W ABC are longer and heavier than 550 W PERC. 14 SWG HDG L2 is the floor for a two-panel rooftop kit. 16 SWG “cheap stands” twist. Coastal (Karachi, Gwadar, Pasni): aluminium rails, not cut GI. Mid-clamp 12–15 N·m, end-clamp 20–25 N·m unless the OEM sheet says otherwise. Clamps on the designated frame zones only — clamping the short side or the glass edge is a cracked cell. Re-torque after the first summer wind. Kit SKUs: Comfort L2 ~Rs 12,000, Alpha L2, ZAKSUN Al P-rails.
Electrical
- One brand, one wattage class, one orientation per MPPT. Mixing a 645 W X10 with a 585 W leftover on one string is how you clip the weak module forever.
- String Voc (cold) < inverter max. Morning in January is the dangerous number, not June noon. Quetta / Murree / Skardu mornings add voltage. If you are near the limit, shorter string.
- MC4 same family both ends. No mixing Stäubli with a Rs 40 clone on one string. Click until it clicks; a “resting” MC4 is a hot MC4 in August.
- Isolator in reach, labelled, OFF while landing PV on the inverter. DC arc is not AC — it does not politely go out.
- Earthing the frames to the same rod as the inverter. Isolated metal in a storm is a surprise.
Bifacial (dual glass)
Rear gain needs light. A white roof, bright concrete, or a ground sheet helps. A water-tank farm, tarred membrane, or modules flush on dusty brick does not. Do not paint the backsheet. Do not block the rear with a second row 10 cm behind. HJT 700 W+ frames are C&I sized — check rail rating before you put Risen / Huasun on a 3-marla house.
Care (the 10–15% you actually control)
Wash with a hose at dawn or dusk. No dry wipe (sand = sandpaper). No detergent unless the OEM sheet allows a mild one. No pressure washer on the junction box or frame joints. Dust in Multan / Bahawalpur / Sukkur is a 10–15% summer tax if you skip it. After a storm: walk the roof with eyes, not feet on glass. Look for shifted clamps, flying debris cracks, a disconnected MC4.
Pigeon mess and neem leaves: wash, do not scrape with a builder’s trowel.
What voids 12/30
No flash, mixed strings, cracked glass left in service, undocumented “Longi”, walking on cells, PVC cable fires, serials that do not hit the brand portal, clamps in the wrong zone, standing water in the frame if you mounted inverted. Keep the invoice, flash, and serial photo. Importer / dealer is the desk in Pakistan — LONGi Xi’an will not take your WhatsApp.
Brand notes
- LONGi Hi-MO X10 — 2026 default. HPBC 2.0, anti-dust marketing is marketing; you still wash. Skip Hi-MO 5/6 PERC leftovers on a new hybrid.
- Jinko Tiger Neo 3.0 — volume N-type. Dual-glass: check rail length. 585–590 W Neo is still an honest workhorse.
- JA DeepBlue / Trina Vertex N / Astronergy / Tongwei — documented N-type value. Same clamp rules. Skip 540 W single-glass clearance as a “new” array.
- AIKO ABC — premium anti-shade/dust pitch. Pay it only if the roof is dirty or shaded and the flash is real.
- Canadian / Risen / Huasun HJT — heat coefficient is why you pay on Multan / Sukkur roofs. Heavy frames, C&I iron.
- Inverex Mustang — local branded import. Not Hi-MO X10. Follow the same torque; keep the Inverex invoice for service.
- OSDA mix lots — confirm cell. Default skip for a new hybrid.
